Budget build. 5-600 euro

Hi

Looking into building a gaming PC for my son.
Limited budget I was going to get below and a second hand GPU with a view to upgrading the GPU for a further present etc.

Primary uses fornite streaming and editing video.

I based the items on a recent recommended list here.

What is the lowest level of GPU I could put with this to work but not restrict the whole system to much?

Any compatibility issues with the parts below?
Is there any other recommendation for a fresher motherboard as I see the MSI B450 is NLA in some stores

nice ! would this system be capable of being upgraded in a 2 - 3 years? i guess it comes down the the motherboard compatibility.

This is an ideal build for me as well, but there seems to be no place to buy the graphics card, so would this one be a good substitute?

The RX 570 8Gb is a better long-term option IMHO unless you're strapped for budget or wish to use less electricity.

Look for Corsair CX or Seasonic S12II units, between 450-550W should be plenty.

Have a few questions before I pull the trigger on this. Will I need the bios updated before it ships and do I need anything else to build it. Eg more fans. Cooler. Thermal paste etc?

You could grab a few fans as only two included with case. See below

Front: Supports 2 x 120mm fans (1 x 120mm fan included)
Top: Supports 2 x 120mm or 140mm fans
Rear: Supports 1 x 120mm fan (included)

Stock cooler already has thermal paste applied but no harm to have some if you ever decide to reapply or install a new cooler.

No BIOS update required as you're using a 2nd Gen Ryzen with a B450 motherboard.

No need for BIOS update, Ryzen 2600 & B450 are same "generation" so will work out-the-box.
Cooler is included with the 2600 - it's decent enough.
There will be 1 layer of thermal paste pre-applied, but a small tube of paste (e.g. 8g Arctic MX-2, £5.75) should be in every builder's kitbox - that's enough for 4-8 applications.
