Green slime in water troughs

    I recently hooked up a new bore in an outfarm. The ground is limestone. The well bore is limestone all the way down.
    Got a lot of green slime in the water troughs now. Any remedies.

    A gold fish or 2 in the tank will remove the slime

    There are filters available to handle practically anything that may be present in a domestic water supply, but the cost might be an issue if the supply is only for livestock use. Anyone installing these systems would probably give you a quote...
