Mould around sink on Lino floor

I got lino flooring fitted last year in kitchen and bathrooms. The man who supplied it was initially helpful but the fitter didn’t do a good job in my opinion. The kitchen floor warped a week later and started lifting at area joining presses. I contacted supplier, never heard back but left it as it wasn’t a trip hazard and was glad to be rid of the tiles.

The fitter seemed to throw it down fairly quick in bathroom too. Not a great fit in my opinion but was happy enough as it meant I could walk on my floor. (Tiles were very old small and quite dirty and hated stepping on them). All the area around the base of the sink is now covered in mould.....It is spreading through the lino underneath and starting to smell. I’ve had problems with mould but use dehumidifier and this has resolved the mould issue previously to this issue.

The lino is specifically bathroom lino. Should a seal have been put around the base of the sink and the lino? It looks awful around the toilet area too.

Can I approach the company or is this a fitting issue ? Can’t approach landlord as I don’t go to him with problems unless it’s to do with electricity or plumbing as I’m too scared to cause hassle with current market. Paid for lino myself and it wasn’t that cheap....any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)
