I have the model below it in the range and I must have put in about 4-5k screws with it (possibly more) plus drilled a lot of holes so I would say its should be fine. I find I can put in at least 200 5x50-75mm on one fully charged 4 Amp battery. Also its a good kit to get in case you want any of the bare tools (no batteries) later on.

Don't forget to register the 3 year warranty on line (only covers drill batteries are only covered for 6 months).

Edit> Thinking about it the only issue I have is that the low speed is a little fast for putting in screws. Its variable speed but hard to keep the speed low on the trigger.

I presume the hammer drill on it is practically useless?

I've the ryobi one plus sds drill and it seems pretty good. Hammer drill can make holes in blocks.

I've the one plus gear too and it's good value diy gear.
Wouldn't waste time with the hammer on the cordless drill when the sds drill can be had for 60/70e

Looking for a new cordless drill. This one seems good value with good batteries. Any one any experience.

Good deal with the 2 batteries.

Sorry never really use it for that sort of work. I use it primarily on projects with wood.

Horses for courses. For the infrequent 6-8mm masonry for hanging baskets and the like it'll be well able. For frequent 10mm plus work, forget it. If the former, i'd advise getting a set of these. Excellent product.

This is the dewalt kit I bought a couple of years ago https://www.amazon.co.uk/DEWALT-Combi-Drill-Plus-Hammer/dp/B015WDKGN0/ SDS and Cordless drill. Neither are brushless but for the amount of use I put the SDS drill too I didn't need brushless and the cordless drill with brushes has done tons of work.

Depends what you are planning in the future? If you want to get more tools with the same batteries then you need to make a decision as to what "colour" your tools are going to be.
