Ya, just commented on the chit chat page. Looks good. Must be a massive farm, there’s a lot of hands pulling out of it. You up around Meath aren’t you?

I think they said they have 650 acres of spuds, 1200 acres and 200 cattle. Some farm if I heard that right.

They were on the radio today with Darcy. Son in law from a small Roscommon suckler farm runs the cattle.

Changed over to Home Ground on BBC1 NI, much nicer program.
    Nice uncomplicated television

I wouldn't be seen driving that tractor to the dump.

Owner is probably happy that the ''wrap'' can be taken off

Ah it’s only a leyland. If it was a real tractor it would be a different story

I see this evening they are highlighting a fendt tractor with tracks with a value of €450,000. This show like spring on the farm is away with the fairies.

Helps reinforce the general public thinking all farmers are loaded.
They had a self propelled yoke on last night n were saying it was e850k.
Even lads laundering diesel money would consider it a bad investment!

Watched this show a few nights this week. Totally pathetic and cringeworthy.

So why repeatedly watch it? Saw some of it last night, fluff interspersed with more interesting articles re: tillage etc. At least it's promoting awareness of and interest in farmers' activities. Imagine if they called it Big Week On the Beef Factories Floor?

I went on RTE Player when I saw on twitter, that Richard O'Beirne of the Millburn herd had some limousins on. (He breeds good cattle in fairness). Skipped tru the rest of it. Some snippets worth watching but you have to endure about 20 adds for it.

Why keep farming if there is no money in it?!!!!!!!!!!
