Do the pedestrian emergency exits on the Dublin Port Tunnel led to the surface via direct independent routes or do they merely lead to the opposite bore?

If its anything like the Lee Tunnel, theres a seperate mini-tunnel down the middle that lets you walk all the way to the exits.

They call them "pedestrian cross passages" so I'd think they just cross to the other bore. I can't seem to find any reference to a third small tunnel or passageway for emergencies or maintenance.

    Yeah that's what I thought.

Looking at the street view from the dock side entrance, there doesn't appear to be a door between the carriage ways which would suggest a third tunnel.

    This too shall pass.
