Have the mini and needs replacing but I've a need now to use it to take notes and do some typing in office 365 and travel so prefer not to bring the laptop. So need a keyboard so I can use on laptop.

I was thinking iPad or iPad Air.

Any advice is the air worth the price.

Just be used for surfing and Netflix, players etc apart from above.

Otherwise I was thinking maybe Surface Go.

    Thanks

The Ipad is basically 2 year old ipad tech whereas the ipad air is currently what Apple have out in their iphones ie A12 fusion cpu etc.
    Ipad has only A10.
I'm considering one and once I looked at the specs I'd definitely be picking the air over the older model.
