I bought the TV in January 2018. Amazing picture but to my horror i have noticed burn in lines at the bottom of the screen, considering how much this tv cost it's not really acceptable . Has anyone else come across this? What's the best fix? I have a 5 year warranty but i'm quite sure knowing this country i'll just be fobbed off.........

I had a problem with a Sony TV and they came to the house and repaired the panel. Zero issue.

The reason you were given a 5yr warranty is because the product must last a "reasonable" length of time. Any small claims judge would agree that a TV which cost thousands should last minium 5 years.

Sony don't want that bad press, so they give a great warranty.
