    First post new to the forum.
    Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in Sicily for a couple close to a beach, hotel or apartment doesn't matter.

    Hi OP
    Have been to Sicily twice but have always had a car.

    Have a look at San Vito Lo Capo area - busy area, beautiful beach and wouldn't need a car. We stay around Scopello and Castellemare del Golfo and drive between various towns.

    Other popular areas are Catania (drove through it - didn't like it), Cefalu which is near Palermo and Trapani.
