    Hi can you help

I went into CW the last week looking at a bill phone with Vodafone I was asked all the questions that they need to ask VF to see if they will let me set up a bill account with them - the system was down and i said i would come back the next day.

I did this and by then it had been passed for an account with no deposit need but I had felt the deal was not for me - and told the same guy I was not going with it. i did not get a phone I did not use my bank card to for the 1 euro trick they do or pay the 99 euro for the deal.

so today i get a letter from VF telling me they will be taking money from my acc ( dont say how much ) every month they use my IBAN no. they use an unique mandate reference - and if all my details was ok to do nothing - so i ring 1907 explain to the guy what happened he told me to do nothing i pointed out what it said in the letter and he felt it was unlikely they would take any thing.

i suggested that using my details was a breach of my GDPR rules he asked me to hold and after 11 minutes I hung up

anyone know what my next move should be ?

Maybe you should've held the line for VFs response rather than hang up?

If no service was initiated or provided, eg you weren't given a SIM card at CW.
Then there has been an error in progressing your order.
There isn't GDPR breach as you provided your data to allow VF/CW credit check you.

There may have been an error in that an order was seemingly processed rather than cancelled.
VF/CW are the only ones who can confirm where this went wrong.
The "fix" is talking to them.

Agree with banie01, the only way to fix this is by communication. You will need to talk to CPW or VF and see exactly what went wrong and how they will rectify this for you.
