Imported car tax and nct question.

    Bought a UK reg car from irish garage. It's now in my name and registered.

    It has an MOT for another two weeks but the old owner can't find the certificate. I verified online on the UK website.

    I was wondering can I tax the car without an NCT? Or can I NCT the car without tax?

    I just got the RF100 form and am wondering which do I do. Drive the car without an NCT or without Tax?

    Tax it online and book NCT. You don't need to do them in a particular order.

    You can just do online? The form says go to local tax office. If you can do online then thats great

    Yea you use the last 6 digits of the VIN for your pin number for imports.
