    Hi,

    I have had my current Electric Ireland account since February 2017 and I need to close it as I am moving to another house where there is already an Electric Ireland account set up in a tenants name. When I go to close my account it says I have to pay a €50 exit fee. Is this correct? I thought there would be no fees to pay once the initial 12 months of the contract was finished?
