    Hi,

I'm looking for a match report in the form of a newspaper article from the 1998 All Ireland football final between Galway and Kildare.

    Any paper will do.

Thanks a mill for any pointers.

Any others you could find would be great, particularly from local Galway or Kildare papers? Thanks a mill.

Thought Kerry were the only team who win soft All-Irelands.

    Hi TCDStudent1,

I wonder if I could bother you for a few more articles!?

Anything from the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

And also, any "Celtic Tiger" articles from the 1990s?

    Thanks a million.

If you join a library you should be able to access archives of all local and national Irish newspapers right back to their inception

Saying it was a soft All-Ireland is more an insult to Mayo and Kildare than Galway to be honest. An insult to two fine teams at the time.
