    Yes.
I got one on Prime day for my mum .
Its a superb piece of kit.
Screen is gorgeous ,Full HD ,IPS ,full aluminium body,it runs cool and quiet .
Very slim and narrow bezels on the screen ,its a compact machine.
Can be used as a Hackintosh too.

The 14" version has a Ryzen 2500u processor so its a bit more powerful .

Yeh I did a little research before buying, its a decent spec for a budget laptop at €450. Metal body and screen were important. Used my revolut with GBP to avoid Amazon/cc conversion.

Amazon Italy seems to have it cheaper €450

It could come with an Italian keyboard though .

if you're looking for a 14 inch full hd ips laptop with a more powerful 4-core (i3's are dual core) i5 then is is decent value for 399 sterling. long-established very reliable site that ships to Ireland.

    https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/81F400E9UK-Lenovo-IdeaPad-330s_2498826.html

battery life is not great though so not for those seeking to spend a whole day away from a power point.

ssd is smaller but that's a cheap upgrade if you need more space.

how do you upgrade a SSD? is it a DIY job or you need to bring it to a shop? I have a 128 GB SSD and really need a bigger one.

diy, just buy the right type of ssd and swap it or add to existing one if there is a free slot (e.g. if m.2 type installed and there is a free sata 2.5 inch slot - verify by opening laptop with a screwdriver and/or research online about the particular model)

if adding to existing just need a screwdriver. drive will just easily clip in and out.

there will be a youtube video for your model - somebody will have made it. just search.

if swapping my recommendation is to reinstall windows from a usb stick (easy). having copied any files you need off the old one onto something else first or backing them up onto the cloud.

    ssds are cheap now

another option is to use an sd card if you just need storage space (as opposed to applications).

4 core chip better for video editing yes. Fine for 1080p resolution but 4k would be a stretch (would take a while and 16gb ram preferable)

    ...no backlit keyboard?

Look for something with a ryzen 5 processor, it's better than an 8 gen i3 and around the same money.

These are nice to have... But I wouldn't have thought it smashed expectations not to have one included by default?

Seems to be a decent price

Would this still be considered a deal at £479.99?
