    Hi.

I have a 04 A4 and there was water getting into passenger side floor. The two pipes were blocked and cleared out the dirt. The one pipe under the battery dropped down. I assume the water is making its way down and not back into footwell.

Dried out the passenger side however we had rain today and water is making its way in. Pool of water. On the floor as I had the carpet lifted. I lifted the air filter and its dry and no sign of water making its way in all was dry.

In under the dash there is a soundproof material water seem saturated more towards the middle console on passenger side.

It seems the water is weeping in somewhere but hard to identify.

Any ideas how the water is getting in or where or any suggestions. Greatly appreciated.

    A bad windscreen seal?

Did you pull back the carpets to see if there are rubber grommets or something like that perished?

There was a grommet out on the side of the bulkhead that didnt look in good condition on closer inspction there was rust one side of the gromet and a pin hole was present, sealed it up and hoping that this was the cause of the water getting in. fingers crossed :)

They leak like said through scuttle on bottom of window directly into pollen filter then into the CCM
Also pollen filter seal goes, take it out and reseal, easy job
Check seal along doors edge too
Take 2 grommets out from under battery tray and give it a good clean
