Buying a pressure washer

So my C120 has started to pack up after 8 years of work. I've found a thread on it and it seems like it's about 50 quids worth of parts to put it right, so I've been looking at replacing it. I was looking at upgrading to a D140, but looking at the recent amazon reviews, the quality seems to have slipped.

Has anyone got any recommendations on what to get? budget is 200 - 250 and I want something that will last me as long as the 120.

I bought the C135 one for my dad last year for £99. It was £140 earlier in the week, but was £125 on prime day. What really annoys me is that I actually posted about it on Bargain Alerts at the time.

I think I’ll keep an eye on Amazon. The current one pulses when not being used and apparently it’s the beginning of the end so hopefully it will last me a few more weeks.

My current one is 9 years old and has been pulsing by itself randomly for the last 2 years but still works fine. I bought a replacement last year as it was going cheap on amazon but haven't had the need to use it yet other than taking the hose pipe from it and using it on the old one which leaked where a kink formed.

Definitely keep an eye on amazon especially on the run up to Black Friday in November.

It's only 90 bar nominal pressure. And I want to stay with Nilfisk as I have a custom Nilfisk hose I want to reuse.

Ive been playing with it all day

Washed both cars...cleaned the gutters....moss off pathways. Its done everything Ive asked of it with ease.

Im very impressed with it. Ive used both Nilfisk and Karcher before....Im liking this much much better.

Its a good solid piece of kit and is powerful enough for any job Ill have at home.

Picked up one also last night & washed 2 cars today with it. As my Ryobi washer gave up the ghost yesterday. Just saw this thread yesterday afternoon & went straight to my local lidl & picked it up so thanks very much for the info & hope the OP gets sorted with a pressure washer

Did you have to put in oil? What type/how much? Did you have to prime it ?

Yeah topped it up with 15W40 oil 0.6l as mentioned in the instructions.
Just switched on the choke & started first pull left it warm up & started washing the cars with no issue. Very happy with it & can also attach my snow foam lance so a win for me.

Did you not put oil in yours? Tempted to pick one up. Especially as I’ve seen they were 250 last year.

C135 is down to £100 if anyone is watching it. I’m quite happy with my new E145 but would have preferred this at £100.

I put oil in it. Picked up another one for 50 less than I originally paid

Not sure but avoid Karcher at all costs. My barely used 2 year old K4 is pissing water from underneath.

Did you get in touch with them about a warranty job?

I bought a K5 back in 2014 and haven't had any issues with it. It gets used at least once every 2 weeks on the car and the odd time on paths, gutters etc.

I only have a standard tap at the garage, will I need to buy anything else to get it connected or ?

Heavy compared to others, but well worth it,

Should fit fine.
Check your water flow rate first.

Yeah. it's not on a pump was also a concern. It's connected directly off the mains.

I've had issues with my K5 since I moved into my current house. I have to remove the extension be it foam/vario/dirt blaster lance, pull the trigger and let water run through it then when I reinstall the lance it's at full pressure. Each time I stop this has to be done. It's not an issue with the washer as I have brought it back to my parents' place to test it and it's perfect so it's some issue with my water supply.

I hooked it up to my neighbour's tap and it's the same thing.
