Health Insurance- Quick Questions

    Hello,

I'm 34 and healthy but going to bite the bullet and get health insurance. I've been looking at policies over the last few days and have decided on Laya Simply Connect as it covers semi private room in private hospital and high tech hospital and it works out at about €21 a week. I've just a few questions

1: In day to day cover it says it covers 50% of GP visit fees. How would I claim this back? at the end of the year or per visit? I visit GP about 8x a year for monitoring of antidepressants and a knee issue that flares up occasionally so this would come in handy.

2: It also says it covers 50% of routine dental costs. What is considered routine dental costs? fillings, cleanings, polishing?

    3. Are the Laya Quickcare clinics comparable to the VHI Swiftcare clinics?

    Cheers.

with laya you get an app and can just take a photo of a GP receipt and submit after each visit - works great

routine dental is all regular dental work, just doesnt include specialist stuff. Cleaning and fillings would be all covered

    have never used the clinics
