    Hi,

Looking to borrow a long cage rear derailleur around 6, 7 or 8 speed for about 5 to 10 years. If you have one in your spares box looking sad and lonely and want to free its spirit and put that old dawg to good use again I'm the one to do it.

Will someone think of the children?

Was about to chuck a Deore LX 8-speed derailleur (previously on my first proper mountain bike) having decided that there was no way that I, or anyone else in their right mind, could possibly have a use for it. Seems to be in working condition. Certainly plenty of tension left in the springs. Yours if you want it.

And by "yours", I mean for keeps. Free. And gratis.

Fantastic. It will get a new lease of life with me. I'll pick it up with the chain on Wed, lunchtime (ish) if this suits? Glasnevin? PM me your location and number.

    Super stuff :D

I was, to be honest, vaguely embarrassed about it in its raw state...
