Faulty Boiler Controls

I had a Wolf boiler with a digital control panel installed about four years ago. The boiler seems to be working as it should be - we have hot water whenever we need it - but the Wolf digital control panel has gone completely blank, so I'm unable to access the controls.
The backlight is on but the menu has completely disappeared from the screen. I turned the electricity off for a minute in the hopes that this might reboot the control panel when I switched it back on, but no luck.
I've been unable to contact the heating engineer who installed the system for me, so I presume that he's no longer in business.

My question is - given that the boiler itself seems to be working as it should be, do I contact a plumber or an electrician to try and sort this out? Also, if the control panel proves to be completely useless, can I replace it with any brand, or do I need to replace it with another Wolf product?

Apologies for the dumb questions, but I know next to nothing about this!

You would need to find a RGi but in the meantime for further information it may be worth contacting: http://www.heatpartnfix.co.uk/contact-us/
