I'm experiencing some issues painting my new house interior. The attached image shows my undercoat which is Albany Vinyl Matt Brilliant White mixed with 10% water, it went on very splotchy in areas and when I paint over it that splotchy look shows through. Does anyone here know what do I need to do to correct this?

Are they newly plastered walls? Looks like the wall was damp before painting or maybe your 10% water was not mixed in correctly?

Plastered over 6 months ago so I don't think it's still damp. I thought I was thorough in mixing the water into the paint but perhaps not, should I just go over it again with another mix?

It's called mapping. I had the same problem in a few rooms. Lightly sand affected areas with a sanding pad and apply another coat of matt to the full wall.
    Hope this helps

Thank you, should I apply a full coat after sanding or the 10% water mix that I used previously?

Dont forget to wipe down after sanding, maybe with some sugar soap.

    Use proper paint - Dulux.
