Home Wifi network requesting sign in

Today my home Wifi network decided to start constantly requesting sign in, similar to when using public wifi in hotels etc.

On mobile the sign in prompt redirects me to no new page and my wifi continues to work if I ignore the prompt, however my chrome cast will no longer connect to the wifi.

Ive factory reset both router and chrome cast to no avail. Any help? I'm at my wits end

Edit : I think the issue arose when we plugged in our new TP link booster to the modem, could this be a cause?
