    Hi, I'm checking if anyone knows, if I decide to do freelance work as a second job, will this be classed as a freelance company or must I just file an f12 form at the end of the year.

    thank you

    Let them file your two fingers held high in the air mate,
    Your already paying tax in one job your doing your fair share top respect on the second job,

    I'm currently selling items from Amazon on Ebay with a mark up on the prices; if something sells then I buy from Amazon shipping directly to the Ebay buyer;
    Nice little enterprise with very little effort; amazing to see how many people are die-hard Ebay for life fans.

    Thank you for your reply. I tend to agree, even when you try do it right they make everything so awkward to even get info.

    Technically the answer you are looking for is yes. You need to create a myRevenue account and register for Income Tax and you can submit the form online.

    It's like Revenue refuse to believe in the existence of the endeavour of freelancing as a whole. They really need to formalize and communicate better on this topic.

    they are a bit of a pain with most information. it's like they are constantly trying to hide stuff even when you want to give them tax money they make the forms so awkward.
