Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my studio lights. I've a very very old set of Bowens 400D lights. They'll be back ups now.

Looking at ISS and Conns, anyone buying in NI or the UK? Sorry, very out of touch with new gear.

    Thanks.

I have used Elinchrom for years and always found them great. Brilliant range of accessories also if you need them

Yeah, they seem to be incredibly popular. I could use the bowens as back up with slaves. Where do you buy your gear?

Barkers in Cork are the main agents as far as I know. Got some of my stuff there but you will also find used stuff for sale often enough.

    Update...

Thanks so much. Going to go with Bowens again, A much more modern, lighter and portable set. I did consider your valued advice, but I got an excellent offer from a colleague.
