    can this be welded suceessfully

    Where is the crack located? might be better to do a temp repair with JBweld or such so as to make sure it not cracked internally or that the head is cracked.....................................................................
    Welding is possible...........................................

    would jb weld stay in it?


    to weld it properly would engine need to be took out

    I was told at one stage that for a good strong weld it would have to be welded on the flat.
    I few older lads at home told me how they turned tractors on their side to weld the blocks . Easier than taking out the engine
