    What car is it?
What happened when it broke down?
    Does it run at all?

The Glow Plug Indicator on your dash shows when the engine's glow plugs are still warming up and your engine should not be started until this light goes out

There is no defective light light. Is there a message on some screen saying the indicator is defect?

You can ring Flo's Garage Service Centre or Autorays Garage and see what they can do for you. I don't know if either is good.
Since I'm not sure what the issue is I can guess what the cost of fixing is.

A lot of cars use the glow plug light as a general engine malfunction light too.

The glow light indicator is flashing and when the car is on it chugs like it’s going to stop and the car is a Skoda Octavia. Also it’s in safe mode I think they call it because it won’t drive over 40k

I have never had an issue with work done by Autopoint in Ballybough, if you could get it to them.
They are used to the peculiarities of my Skoda Roomster, but I can't advise as to what is wrong with yours.

I think that light is mostly a 'something is not right' light. The garage plug it into the computer and that tells them exactly what.
