Dell Laptop Issues - advice for alternative

    Bought a Dell Inspiron 13 7000 laptop a year ago. Had issues with the battery and sent it back for repair. They replaced the battery (which had completely failed by that point) but the same issue recurred and so I got a full replacement laptop.

    Same issue have arisen with the replacement laptop so am thinking of demanding a full refund and buying a completely different laptop.

    Would anyone be able to recommend a particular laptop for around €1000? Should I avoid Dell?

    Needed as a work laptop for academia.

    Thanks for any advice offered.
