I empathise with those of you who are currently mourning the loss of your companions. When we had to make the hard decision regarding our lad, it took us years to get over his death. In hindsight, twenty years gap was much too long. It wouldn't have been a betrayal to bring another dog into our home after a shorter period.…

In hindsight, twenty years gap was much too long. It wouldn't have been a betrayal to bring another dog into our home after a shorter period.
