Car cutting out and hard to start

    Car is Skoda Superb 1.9tdi bxe mk2. It Will start maybe half the time when cold will be a bit rough for a few seconds. When hot especially in traffic or a long drive, it will cut out when dip the clutch and revs drop. It will also judder to a stop of at low revs and engine hot. Not all the time but fairly often. Garage said glow plugs. Didn't believe them but changed anyway. Problem remains. Fuel pump appears to be working. At least it does prime. No codes.... Any help appreciated as garage seems stumped.

    Remove the intake pipe and give the isv a good clean out with some carb cleaner and see if that helps.

    Turned out to be coolant temp sensor. Replaced it for the Craig and no issues since.
