I'm thinking about buying a small cordless grinder.Has anyone here got one and what's their opinion on it?
    Thanks.

Great if you have other tools from the same manufacturer so you have a stack of batteries. Reason I say that is along with circular saws grinders really eat into battery power.

I've 5 4Amp 18V DeWalt XR batteries and it doesn't take too much work with the grinder to flatten one, whereas in a screw driver the same battery would last a hard days work

Still I find I use it a lot as its far less hassle to get out and use than one of the several corded grinders I have.

Have a bosch 18v one, its the business, i only really use it with a flap disc or ultra skinny disc for cutting. Get a 5ah battery with whatever brand you go with

    Have one,

Very handy, But wouldnt rely on it. By rely on it i mean i have a corded one as backup.

Its pointless tool unless you equally invest in alot of batteries.

If its your only grinder, buy a decent corded one you will have it forever.
