I I have been playing piano (classical) since I was 9 I’m 25 now and looking to teach for extra money. I have competed all grades up to 8 with honors/distinctions but have no other qualifications in music. I can’t do DipRIAM as I don’t have 85% mark in my grade 8.

Can I still teach or should I get other qualifications?

If it's in a private music school and they need a teacher then off you go. If they want a piano teaching qualification then this one is a bit more accessible. My friend did it deacades ago and they had examiners in Ireland.

look up "ALCM piano diploma" I think it's the Teaching Diploma rather than the performing diploma you'd be after. It might be better to get a teacher.
