Probably more suited to the food thread but looking for a bit of footfall which after hours has. Have bottles of Lidl Carrick Glen 2 litre Still water. From my reading they are part of the recall for high arsenic level. Both a Lidl store and the customer service phoneline tell me I'm wrong:confused: Keep telling me it's for the sparkling or the 250ml.

I suggest you don't follow the old adage of "suck it and see".

I'd say you've drank an awful lot worse in the past and not even realised it

It's pretty clear from the tables, that the water you have should be part of the recall.
Demand to speak to someone who can read and there should be no doubt that you have tainted water! :)

Is the bottle a 250ml bottle or a 500ml bottle?

It's 2litre. The table is not very well presented to be fair hence why I'm questioning if I'm right.

The photo of your bottle says Dec 20 and BN169 and the official table has both the date and serial number for recal.

I’d send a public post on Facebook and Twitter if they’ve already been ars3y with you.

Why would bottles contain arsenic anyway?

Then it looks like it's covered to me.

Because arsenic is a naturally occurring substance.

I learn something new every day :)

Arsenic is common in water, especially in wells, I know a fella who has high levels of arsenic in his well a nd has to treat it, cost thousands to sort it beeeaches.

So was the issue with the water or the plastic bottles?

I'd imagine it is in the water
