Managed to scratch the rear 1/4 panel of my car last night. Anyways, after all the self loathing, I've contacted a few places for quotes.

Quick search on here threw up the following:

Tony O'Brien Body Repairs, Drogheda (I live near there)
    CarCraft in Dublin
    SmartRepair.ie, mobile service.

Anyone have any recent experiences, good or bad? Or any other recommendations? As a fairly broke student, I want the best job for the best price I can get. (quotes are around €250-300 so far)

Was Recommended by a relative to go to Declan O'Flaherty Body shop in Fairview.
Super job, good price and done in a day too. They are at 237/239, Richmond Road, Dublin 3. Ph; (01) 8370963. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Might be a bit further afield than you’d like but Meehan’s just outside Dundalk are good, I’ve used them twice and so have extended family and the work has always been up to standard.

Would highly recommend Tony O’Brien. Have used him myself and know some main dealers around the town use him.

Either here, or CarCraft in Ballybough would be good shouts. I’ve had a few bits and pieces done by CarCraft on various cars, and more recently by Declan O’Flaherty when CarCraft couldn’t take on the same job (due to time constraints).

Joe Furness body shop in Mell. Insurance approved. I’ve had three jobs done by them in the last 10 years and all flawless. PM me if you want the name of a contact who’ll look after you.

+1 on Joe Furness and Tony O Brien in Drogheda.
Have had small jobs done with both over the years and always reasonable and top quality .

There's also Johnny O Brien in Drogheda who is equally as good .
His workshop was in Greenhills , out past the school on the left but not sure if he still operates from there or not.

Car craft are excellent and very competitive on price, both parents have had cars done with them

To update this (as it might be useful to someone else!), I went with Joe Furness as I had an issue with one of Tony O'Brien's staff, which Tony later sorted out. I've only read good things about his work and he seems a very nice guy to deal with.

Joe Furnessp was a gentleman to deal with, very fair price and the best compliment I can pay to the work is you'd never think I'd scratched it in the first place. Immaculate work.

Carcraft also came in with a good price, SmartRepair were quoting very expensive.

Old thread, but some of the original posters may still have knowledge.

Is Joe Furness now closed down? I thought I heard something about some of his employees taking the business on but the old number seems out of service
