    It’s probably private property.

Go lock your bike at a bike stand. Doesn’t Drury St car park have bike facilities?

Don’t park your bike like an arsehole and you’ll be grand.

Its not private property its a public street and they are not concerned with the style of bike parking but with any bike being locked at all the point is they seem to think because they crace the street with a fu$king business they own the street. They do not and who gave them the right to threaten to remove people's property .

Are they perhaps employed to work on behalf of Dublin City Council similar to private clamping companies?

You think this is acceptable then ......

Public space or private space with public access?

Your rant appears a little excessive. Do you also rant when you are expected to stop at red traffic lights?

Your spelling? No, it is not acceptable. There is no ‘e’ in vandalism.

Then it would be ok for someone to spray paint their shop front ...

If it is private property, they can spray and spray it any colour they like.

No, have you just had a lobotomy? If you had then that would explain a few things.

Hmm, but a lobotomy suggests that there was something there in the first place :pac:

That isn't a wide pavement. If there is even one bike locked to that pole, access/passage will be impeded for wheelchair users, children's buggies and for the blind. It's a totally unsuitable location to park a bike. Akin to parking your motor vehicle on the pavement. Do you really not care that you could cause someone to fall or get knocked down? There are plenty of designated bike-parking areas.

No idea what this thread is supposed to be about, but the 'discussion' is too childish to survive on this site

Do you know who painted that notice? Was it the shop, was it DCC or was it someone else.
