Ah vs CA/IMHO

I recently noticed a difference in the threads started in AH. The forum seemed to change but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then I discovered the Current Affairs forum and that seems to be where any serious discussion gets sent.

Sometimes I like a light hearted discussion and sometimes I like to have a more serious one. This will probably be banished to the feedback forum (one I've heard of but never ventured into) but was it really necessary to split AH?

I'm not a daily poster but would be regular enough. How did I miss this split? Do regular posters think it has enhanced AH and am I just a fuggy duddy who needs to get with the digital times or was the old AH just fine as it was?

Feedback has it already, but most seem happy with the split.

There was a great war, to make sure a power like that could never rise again, AH was split into two separate entities. The Federal Republic of AH and the other was The Current Affairs Democratic Republic.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

    Massive improvement IMO.

AH was in danger of being ruined by all that other shite clogging it up day after day.

The blaming politicians for everything crew seem to have been segregated off, and they can now spend their days in a state of permanent outrage in a forum that isn’t AH. The whole experiment has been a resounding success so far.

Splitting of the CA/Political threads and rants has returned AH to a much lighter sense of fun than it has been over the last few years.

Much much better for the change IMO and in fairness Paddy, it's only a click away.

Thanks for the info. I missed the split somehow. Personally I don't like it but he ho, that's democracy :)

It feels like the AH of 2008-10ish. I love it.

Not the place to be discussing this, take it to feedback.
