Stuck ABS sensor

I need to replace ABS sensor and while trying to do so it is stuck in the wheel hub with no chance of prying out. I read online of a few different ways of getting it out from using heat gun and drilling out. One person I saw taking the wheel hub appart and the knuckle off in order to drill the broken sensor right through, this looks time consuming and a lot more complicated especially for a diy job. I was just wondering has anyone have any experience with this problem ?. I was hoping to do the job myself but I am thinking I might need to take this one to the mechanic.

WD 40 a vice grip and slow rotations beck and forth if access is possible, to break the ‘rust seal’

You’ll have to drill it out so I’d say. You have to be careful not to damage the abs ring while you’re at it though.
