Best shirt to wear untucked

    Lads -
    I find it extremely difficult / impossible to buy casual shirts that I can wear un-tucked.

    I have broad shoulders (not a big stick out belly or anything) so wearing a large that is the right length is just too tight on the shoulders and chest so going XL, if it fits ok up top is usually way too long to wear un-tucked.

    In the past I have just got shirts tailored to suit but the end result is rarely as good as buying off the shelf.

    In my mind the shirt should sit a little below the belt line / top of the pockets.

    Anybody have the same issue or can recommend a brand that might be of use.

    Do you mean T shirts or shirts?

    You could try T shirts that are labeled Big and Tall, not saying you are fat or anything, but if you are broad shouldered they might do the trick. River Island do them.

    I don't understand this part, you should be buying shirts you like off the shelf and then taking them for tailoring to your specification (darting, length, etc). Why isn't this working for you?

    A nice red/black plaid shirt. Nothing says casual than the wayward lumberjack look.

    Sometimes the stitching when the shirt is altered - length or on the back -isn't as neat as the original stitching plus bringing to a tailor just adds more cost and time.
    Ideally I find a brand that works and I can just buy off the shelf.

    First world problem I know but its just a pain trying to get anything last minute as it rarely works out.
