    It should be illegal to advertise for Christmas before Halloween. November 1st is when things should start to “kick off” in shops etc.

    It has opened every August for the last few years now, as already said if you don't agree then don't go near the place.
    I'm a self confessed big fan of Christmas and don't subscribe to the theory that it starts earlier every year, for me it's the biggest event/celebration of the year.
    Pay no heed to what the shops are doing anyway, that's the commercial side to it so celebrate Christmas in your own way. The shops have Easter eggs on their shelves 10 to 12 weeks before Easter ffs.
