Can I travel to Canada from the US via car on an IEC Visa?

    I'm Irish and currently based here. Assuming I get an IEC Visa, myself and my partner want to collect our car which is currently in the USA and drive to Canada.

    Is there any restrictions on the method of entering the country with an IEC Visa?

    If you intend to keep the car then you will need to import the car into Canada and you may not even be allowed to import it.

    Generally the most important thing is for the car to have daytime running lights which not all cars built/sold in the US have.
