I went to primary school with a girl whose surname I was CONVINCED was O'Marley Farley.

It wasn't, needless to say, but my family still slag me about it. I'm 37.

Anyone with a double barrelled name should be banned from using any state services, proper tools.

It's fine for relatives of the Queen or Prussian nobility, but for some nobber calling him or herself Murphy-Ryan or some such it's just plain wrong. I pity kids landed with unfortunate double-barrellers through their parents' notions.

Do you object to people being identified by the addition you father and grandfather's name: Mick John Paddy McCarthy?

Irish surnames...but only anglicised ones? Yeah, you couldn't include actual Irish surnames in a list of Irish surnames!!
