Temporary mobile broadband solutions

    Hi

    I’m heading to Waterford for the week next week. The rental house has no broadband. Was just wondering if there are cost effective solutions to getting a temporary mobile broadband connection?

    If you had a fairly recent-ish phone you could buy a Three sim for €20 (All You Can Eat data) and make it a mobile hotspot. Obviously depending on the network quality and if you think it's worth paying that out for a week.

    And you'd get to keep the €20 so you could use it on the Play store for books, music, films etc.

    Recommend you also check your location against Comreg mobile mast map. The nearest operator mast will have best signal

    Hotspot a phone is surely the easiest.
    And if you have a phone already, it's the cheapest.
