Hi. On the Revenue website, it won't give me the VRT on a 2017 Seat Ateca, (Petrol Automatic, 23,000 miles),only giving me the option of 2 litre diesel!!!
    Idiots!
Would anyone have an idea approx how much this would be?

(i was told calling them would be a waste of time)...

    thanks in advance.

Assuming the 1.4 TSI is 124/125g it will be 18% of the OMSP.
Best guess is to take as many of the same model you can find and average the price then work out 18% of that.

    18% of a new model, or 18% of a 2017 model?

18% of the used OMSP of the diesel. On the assumption that diesel and petrol haven roughly the same value.

The only diesel option on the VRT site is for a 2 litre. I'm looking at 1.4litre.

Yeah, just assume the 1.4 petrol is worth roughly the same as the 2.0 diesel and you’ll get a fair idea of the VRT. Use the OMSP of the diesel a the VRT rate of the petrol.
