Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best time to book Ireland to California flights (travelling next Easter)

Planning to fly with the missus to Cali next Easter (4th April - 18th of April) kinda period.

Basically looking for tips on the best time to book the flights (now? Or is there any autumn sales where airlines will cut prices?) And it doesn't matter too much to us what airport we fly into, so if there's a cheaper option that isn't crazy, I'm happy to hear it!

Also willing to fly from the UK!

Easter would be considered high season so basically keep an eye on flights , book when you're happy with the price and don't be tempted to look back after you've booked.

OP you can set alerts on Skyscanner for specific dates and it will email you when there is a price drop. Unless there is a very big saving going via the UK can be a false economy as you'll end up in a queue for immigration after a long haul flight whereas from Ireland that is sorted out before you fly. You'd also run the risk of connecting flights being delayed and missing your main flight to the US.
