Hey! Just wondering what is the dress code (for middle-aged aunties of the bride) at post wedding barbeques? Dressy, dressy-casual, casual? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

    Dressy casual

I'd think dressy casual, although depends on where it is. If its at their house then definitely.

Like a cotton or linen midi dress... lots of options in the sales, but you'd want to move quick! Autumn winter stock is starting to come in.

I've been to a few of these and dressy casual is definitely the way to go. If it's daytime or still summery you could wear a summer dress with flat sandals. Alternatively you could wear jeans or trousers with a dressy top. Wear comfy shoes/sandals as you'll be standing around. Bring something like a little jacket or cardi as it will get chilly.
