Clocked cars - U.K

I see another thread has been stopped showing examples of clocked cars, but I think it might be useful to discuss how prevalent it is

For example you often hear U.K. cars are clocked, but I wonder are they clocked by small dealers or indeed over here as they are brought in?

Do folks think buying from main dealers and / or the large supermarkets in the U.K effectively guarantees the mileage as genuine? If your buying a car less than 3 years old in the UK then it has no MOT record so how can you be sure that miles are genuine?

Verifiable service history, anyone who buys a 3 year old car without one is asking for trouble.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Apply the same rules as buying any used car, the country of origin shouldn't change that.
