Stain on bathroom ceiling: Mildew or leak from water tank?

We have a couple of stains which has caused the paint to crack on our bathroom ceiling. I'm familiar with a damp bathroom but I suspect there is a leak from the water tank.

There is mould growing on the ceiling but underneath the paint which I've not seen before hence me suspecting it is a slow leak.

Yes it does. And I presume through up to the roof.

Most likely the issue is caused by the extracted air condensing on the water tank, and then dripping back onto the ceiling.

Fit a proper duct from the fan direct to outside, insulate the water tank, and ideally replace the bathroom ceiling with insulated plasterboard.

    Thanks a lot.

What kind of tradesman should I contact for that?

Make sure you keep ventilation in the bathroom especially after a shower, this causes damp and mildew

If it is a case of replacing the extractor, putting a pipe up through the roof and replacing the ceiling, what trademan would do that?
