Were these wrong messages

I had a falling out with a friend because they done a few horrible things and it was more them not apologising after I brought things up with them.

I received some messages from this person that was not for me. I think they sent the messages on purpose though. It was their way of letting me know that they had a guy and she was one up on me and I should be jealous of her. She values herself through men.

I'll try and explain how I think these messages were sent on purpose. The messages were for a guy called Michael. My name begins with L. I know they used to have my name in their phone as weasel. So it's not as if my name was right beside his name in her contacts. She also has her mother's number saved as mam and mam should be after L and before Michael. So how she accidentally sent me a wrong message is beyond me. There was no mistake.

One of the messages were sexual in nature thanking the guy for the previous night and slapping her with the various implements... I later found out through other means this night did not happen.

Was it a way for them to let me know about her guy. Why she feels the need to let me know, I don't know. Like she was trying to tell me she was better for having a guy.

    Can anyone explain this behaviour?

No I can't explain this behaviour and I wouldn't bother trying. I suggest you just block her number and forget about her. Don't be a drama ilama. 😊

You cant rationalise crazy. Sounds like she is someone you are better off not having in your life. It's a lot of drama for two adults.

Genuine question, OP: why do you care?

Do you think she's better than you because she has a fella? If you do, then it seems that was her plan and it worked. If you don't, then why she sent the messages doesn't matter. I'd call it a sad attempt at attention seeking.

Because her 'friend' is doing things that upset her.

Op i think your 'friend' and this guy might be indulging in some pretend fantasy sex texting. Thats why it the night never happened.
I know they used to have my name in their phone as weasel.

She is a horrible person. She isn't a friend. She has to value herself through external things and putting others down etc.

So she demeans you to make herself seem better in her mind to herself.

Its really a sign of someone who is not living their best life shall we say.

I would tell her the friendship is over and tell her to delete your number from her phone. Don't see her again.
