How common is death from alcohol withdrawal in Ireland?

Given the high consumption of alcohol, I seldom here of people dying from alcohol or even benzo withdrawal. I suppose it only affects serious alcoholics. I know in my country, it rarely happens cause it's third world and most people can't afford even a bottle of alcohol a week let alone get addicted.
