The European Athletics Team Championships are on in Bydgoszcz, Poland from 9-11 August, 2019.

Today it's qualifying rounds and a couple of Irish 100m sprinters have already qualified (Eanna Madden and Ciara Neville).

I don't know what the difference is but there are several championships this weekend in various places. The ones I was looking at with Ciara Neville are the first league qualifiers in Sandnes. A lot of Irish athlethes have qualified so it should be a good one to watch tomorrow.

The ones in Poland are where 12 top nations take part in. 1st League - next 12, and so on...

Ireland do just enough to stay in the first league. Great performances in both 4x400s when the pressure was on.
