What you think about going to the gym when abroad, especially a hot country like Portugal or Spain? For me I think it’s ridiculous your going to relax and enjoy the sun. Do without the gym for a week it’ll do the world of good.

    What’s people’s take on this ?

How dare they be motivated and consistent with their work plan.

Unlike me, who just goes on the pints.

My take is....you should get over it.

People relax in various ways, gym included.

Usually attend a gym while away
Not training too hard but I find it interesting to see another gym/try different machines etc

My husband goes a few times on holiday. He feels good afterwards and the pool feels mighty good after a gym session, says he. He does shower between the two activities though.

I like using the gym on holidays , we normally pick a hotel which has a decent gym and indoor pool, last 2 years was Portugal. Compared to trying to fit it in during a busy week its bliss when its just there and you have time on your hands, sitting around a hotel pool all day would be too boring and I couldn't take being outside all day anyway.

People really get annoyed over anything, huh.

See the scientist(gorgeous looking too) who was found dead last week after she went out for run when on holidays and her husband found reported her missing.

She had fallen into a ravine when running a particularly dangerous (and unfamiliar) mountain trek, despite her husband voicing his concerns about it.

Your on holiday. A break from your fitness regime isn't going to kill you, ironically enough.

Yeah if Im away for a week I'll go gym twice, Im still going out and doing all the holiday stuff but theres always an hour or two some days people want to chill out or sleep in or something, thats when I go. No guilt about about the beers and the fast food. Good for the brains, lets me relax more.
