Would you hurt your enemy if guaranteed to get away with it?

First- do you have any enemies? Can be anyone- old bully, neighbour from hell or someone who robbed you.

If you had them in a room for 2 hours and you could knock the absolute crap out of them with guaranteed no comeback, would you actually do it or would you use words (verbal) to taunt them. Kind of like The Purge but your enemy couldn't fight back..

Most people are so full of hot air about they would do this and that but couldn't actually do it when push comes to shove.

Enemy is a bit of a strong auld word. Sure there are some folk I don't like but I don't think I'd go so far as to say I have any enemies.

I probably do have one "enemy" anyway, but I wouldn't want to be alone with this person for 2 seconds let alone 2 hours So no, live and let live is my motto, and I fully believe in karma. Let it go long or short, it always comes back Better things to be doing with my time, like living my best life!

I have done. Someone I know pulled a bad sly one and indirectly cost me a few k. 5 years later I caught him and bate him up and down the road. My foot was wrecked for a while afterwards from kicking him.

It was very satisfying I'll admit given what the sneaky cnut did. One of my cousins got him a few weeks later and gave him a worse hiding over something else sneaky that he was caught red handed doing.

Nope. Ive never referred to anyone as my enemy. It sounds bizarre to me to refer to people like that.

Ive found when I was younger like early/mid 20's... I was more like my mam...more forgiving and would let things slide that I should not but as I've got older I'm getting more like my dad and can easily just cut people off.

People don't like confrontations. The real question to ask is "if you could royally screw the person who dont like over, and be no comeback to you, would you?" - then yeah. You'd see a lot of people doing so. Officially no... unofficially of course they would.

I dislike 80-90% of people I come across. But I wouldn't say that I have any enemies. Nor would I physically hurt anybody just because I dislike them.

If I or one of family was wronged in a particularly evil way e.g someone mugged my mother, I'd probably be down for the whole eye for an eye thing.
